It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Alyssa Janielle
Skrobacs, who departed this world on June 7, 2024, with her family at her side. Alyssa was a beloved mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.
Born October 17th, 1981, in Washington PA, Alyssa grew up with a passion for helping others. She attended California University of PA for nursing and later pursued careers in EMS and home healthcare. Alyssa was known for her humor, generosity, and free spirit.
Alyssa is survived by her two beautiful daughters, Madison Takovich of Lake Lynn and Kyleigh Yocum of Powhatan Point; her parents, Joseph and Kathleen Skrobacs of Richeyville; her grandmother, Patricia Priloh of Denbo Heights; her sisters, Nicole Britt of Low Hill and Ashley Skrobacs of Donora; her brother, Nathan Skrobacs, girlfriend Yanessi Butcher and girls Skylar and Harper of Beaver; nephews, Jameson Britt, Ryan Bittner and Jase Bittner; niece, Joie Skrobacs; Godparents, (Uncle) Stephen and (Aunt) Nancy Breznai; Aunt and Uncle Terri and Donnie Bowen; Aunt, Tana Bontrager; and many cousins, both near and far. All whom will cherish her memory.
Friends will be received in the Mariscotti Funeral Home,Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 4-7 pm with funeral services immediately following with Minister Michael Pierson, officiating.
