Bert W. Roberts, 75, of California, PA, died Sunday, July 10, 2016.
He was born Sunday, December 22, 1940, in East Pike Run Twp., a son of the late Samuel Willis Roberts and Sarah Christina (Shonts) Roberts.
Bert was a truck driver.
In addition to his parents Bert was preceded in death by his wife, Janet (Staley)Roberts on February 11,2015 and one brother Oliver "Babe" Roberts.
Left to cherish his memory are his three children, Russelette Cramer and husband Robert of Finleyville, PA, Bert W. Roberts, Jr. of California, PA, and Bob Roberts and wife Nancy of Thornwood, NY; one brother Samuel Roberts and wife Donna of Clermont, FL Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, Katie and Michael Cramer, and Edson, Grace and Trucker Roberts and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA on Wednesday, July 13, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and from 2 to 3:00 pm on Thursday, July 14, when funeral services will be held in the funeral home with Rev. Kenneth Custer officiating.
Interment will follow in Taylor Cemetery.
