Bryan was a soldier at heart, after graduating from California Area High School, Staff Sargent Cain proudly served ten years in the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserves, followed by two years in the Air National Guard.  He worked for the Washington County Housing Authority, mostly at Liberty Tower.  Bryan retired from Cal-U where he worked on the grounds crew.
