Edward Michael “Peas” LeJohn, 78, of Coal Center, PA, died Wednesday, June 16, 2021.
He was born Sunday, November 8, 1942, in North Charleroi, PA, the son of the late Edmund and Lena (Filoni) LeJohn.
Peas was a member of the California Hill Gun Club, and the California Young Men’s Club.
He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy.
In addition to his parents Peas was preceded in death by his sister, Theresa Kwasny.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 29 years, Melanie LeJohn; three children, Tracy and Joe Dochinez of St. Petersburg, FL, Jaime and Shawn Shimko of St. Petersburg, FL, and Brady and Deb LeJohn of California, PA; one sister, Rose Marie Bakos, of Morgantown, WV. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Ashley Wagner and her husband Doug, Briar Shimko, and Madison LeJohn and one great granddaughter, Sidney Wagner.
In accordance with Peas’ wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA.
