Geraldine "Gerri” Platter, 82, of Coal Center, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 with her family by her side.

She was born Friday, December 13, 1935, in East Pike Run Twp., a daughter of the late George and Frances (Sholtis) Pordash.

In addition to her parents Gerri was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Platter and one sister, Eleanore Timlin.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Connie Riggi and husband Glen of Virginia Beach, VA, and Lisa Petrucci and husband Dale, with whom she has made her home, of California, PA;  sisters,  Delores Grimes and husband Andy of Vestaburg, PA, Carol Beatty of California, PA and Marion Shelling and husband Ron of Leavittsburg, OH.  Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, Lacey, Charlee and Spencer Petrucci and Catarina Riggi and numerous nieces and nephews.

As per Gerri’s wishes her funeral services were private and were entrusted to the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA.
