Grace Bradley (McKay) Cairns

With great love and joyful remembrance, we celebrate the life of Grace Bradley Cairns, born on June 4, 1933, in the charming town of Van Lear, Kentucky. Grace passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024, at the age of 91, surrounded by the warmth of her cherished family.

As well as being a homemaker Grace worked for many years in the accounting department of Fox Grocery.

In addition to her parents, John A. and Bertha G. McKay, Grace was preceded in death by her husband, William P. Cairns (June 29, 1971), her sons-in-law, David Pagac and Jack Harris, and sister-in-law, Sue McKay.

Grace was the beloved matriarch of her family. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Harris and Diane Pagac, and her son, William “Chud” Cairns, along with her adored siblings, sister Betty Ann (Clyde) McDowell, brother Jack McKay, and sister Jayne (Andy) Behary.

Grace took immense pride in her grandchildren - Christa Kuvinka (Bruce Kearns), Larry (Melissa) Butler, Brianne (Bill) Hall, and Megan (Craig) Livengood - who brought her countless moments of joy and laughter. She delighted in her role as a great-grandmother, leaving behind a legacy of love for Aaron Previsky (Samantha Wiltrout), Jordan Kearns (Alaina Chiaravalle), Hailey Butler, Gavin Butler, Grayson Butler, Bella Messer, Abigail Livengood, and Hannah Livengood.  Grace will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are private and at the convenience of her family.

Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA

In this time of reflection and joy, we honor Grace’s legacy and the boundless love she shared throughout her lifetime. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
