Helen Zibel

Helen Mitchell Zibel, 94, of Coal Center, PA, died Thursday, June 23, 2016.

She was born Wednesday, October 5, 1921, in Rices Landing, PA, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Kulsky (Mitchell).

She was a member of both St. Joseph's and St. Thomas Aquinas R.C. Parishes in Roscoe and California respectfully.

In addition to her parents Helen was preceded in death by her husband John A. Zibel (2007); son John Alan Zibel (1989); sisters, Ann Rush, Mary Barney, twin sister Margaret Greenlief, and brother William Shukis.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and David Davis of Charleroi, PA, granddaughter, Catherine Takacs and husband Peter, and grandson, Chris Davis and wife Lisa.  Also surviving are her great grandsons Brock and Emmet Davis and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were private and were entrusted to the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA.

Interment was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
