James "Jay" Edward Plance, Jr.

James Edward Jay Plance, Jr., 45, of Smithfield, PA, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 18, 2017.

He was born Thursday, December 30, 1971, in Brownsville, PA, a son of James McClain and Cindy Wright Plance.

Jay loved to hunt, fish and go camping

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ashley Luann Plance.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Cindy Plance of Brownsville, PA; father, James  McClain; son, Jarrod Weaver; daughter, Kaytlyn Weaver; brothers, Scott Plance and Jeremy (Cynthia) Plance and granddaughter, Amelia Ann McCrory.

Friends will be received in the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 6-8 pm.
