Jean Marie Thistlethwaite, 85, of Brownsville, PA, died Monday, January 9, 2017.
She was born Saturday, July 11, 1931, in Monessen, PA, the daughter of the late George and Jennie (Greer) Jacobson.
She was a member of the Eastern Star
In addition to her parents Jean was preceded in death by two sons, Paul Wayne and Lee Alan Thistlethwaite.
Left to cherish her memory are husband of 64 years, Wayne R. Thistlethwaite; grand daughter, Amanda Thistlethwaite and husband Craig Eadie and grandson, Robert Thistlethwaite and fiancée Stephanie Falappi. Also surviving is a cousin, Raymond Popp.
Friends will be received in the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and until 11:00 am on Thursday, January 12, 2017 when funeral services will be held in the funeral home with Aarons Minister Zane W. Mitchell officiating.
Interment will follow in Westland Cemetery.
