John Walter "Budge" Duvall

John Walter "Budge" Duvall, 86, of California, PA,  son of the late Bertram and Florence Duvall passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, after a long illness.

He was preceded in death by his infant son, Gary Steven Duvall, and his sisters, Audrey Hunt, Doris Brown, and Donna Lee.

He was a graduate of California Area High School, Class of 1956 and was employed by the Peoples Natural Gas Company for 35 years.

John had varied interests and was always working on a project. He did a lot of woodworking which he gave to his daughter and granddaughters. His family meant everything to him and gave him great joy.

He survived by his wife of 66 years, Donna Rae Snyder Duvall; a daughter, Susan Gayle Mendicino; two granddaughters, Meghan Leigh Mendicino Collins, and Nina Catherine Mendicino Reger and great-grandchildren, Barrett, Liam, and Sophia Collins and Max and Isla Reger, as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by everyone who loved him.

There will be no visitation or funeral services.
