John R. Kousonmbus

John Ronald Koussonmbus, 74, of Stockdale, PA, died Saturday, August 5, 2017.

He was born Friday, December 11, 1942, in Charleroi, PA, a son of the late John Koussonmbus and Flo (Burgen) Koussonmbus.

He was a member of the Allenport Rod and Gun Club and a lifetime member of the Stockdale Volunteer Fire Department.

In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Short and two sisters, Margaret Lycett and Blanche Rodriguez.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 28 years, Patricia (McCourt) Koussonmbus; son, Thomas Dean; daughter, Kim Koussonmbus of Monessen, PA; son, John A. Koussonmbus, of Monessen, PA; two brother, Chris and James Koussonmbus.  Also surviving are his grandson, Joseph Evans, a very special friend, Charles "Bubba" Roberts, Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and until 11:00 am on Friday, August 11, 2017 with Rev. Candace Cook officiating.

Interment will follow in Phillipsburg Cemetery
