John Luko Obituary

**Obituary for John Henry Luko (1932 - 2025)**

It is with a heartfelt celebration of life that we announce the passing of John Henry Luko, who departed this world peacefully on June 29, 2025, at the age of 93. He was born on Wednesday April 13, 1932,  a son of Joseph and Emma (Brendza) Luko, in Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvania, John lived a full life dedicated to his family, career, and community.

As a skilled welder with Lee Norse and Campbell Transportation, John embodied the spirit of hard work and dedication. His commitment to his profession was only overshadowed by his love for his family. He cherished his wife, Kay Luko, with whom he shared countless memories. He was a proud father to his daughter, Tammy McBurnie, and a devoted grandfather to Taryn Fason and his great grandsons Landon, and Daxton Fason. John will be lovingly remembered by his surviving brother, James Luko, and all who had the privilege to know him including numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by his son, Marty John Luko (2004) and nine siblings, and his beloved furbaby, Molly(June 2025).

John honorably served as a Corporal in the Army until his discharge on January 22, 1955. His resilience and strength were a testament to his character, and these qualities have left a lasting legacy on all who knew him.
