John Tyler, Sr.

John Tyler, Sr., 95, of Daisytown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.

He was born July 19, 1929, in Daisytown, PA, a son of Ernest and Esther (Jones) Tyler.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the late Dorothy (Green) Tyler.

Left to cherish his memory are his seven children, Valinda Tyler,  John "Boo" Tyler, Jr., Cynthia Tyler, Ernest Tyler, James Michaux, all of Daisytown, Lena Michaux, of Maryland,  Lenny Michaux (Wanda) of Brownsville; brother,  Willie Tyler, Sr. and wife Diane, and  Marsha Greene and husband Anthony. Also surviving are several grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Daisytown, PA  on Wednesday, August 7 from 10 am to 11 am. Funeral Services will begin at 11 am with the Rev. Delonte Reeves, officiating.

Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
