Karen A. Carney, 67, of Brownsville, PA, died Friday, December 17, 2021.
She was born Friday, July 2, 1954, in Brownsville, PA, a daughter of the late Nick Brosick, Sr. and Justina (Long) Brosick.
In addition to her parents Karen was preceded in death by her twin sister, Sharon Paholsky, and her brother, Nick Brosick, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Kenneth Carney of Brownsville, PA; daughter Megan Knippers and husband Knic of Palmetto, Fl; sisters, Barbara Elsleger and Diane Behrendt and husband Edward; Also surviving are 2 granddaughters, Brinley and Kali Knippers,; a special niece, Renee Moore and several other nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral services will begin at 8:00 pm with Fr. James Bump officiating.
