It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Llewellyn Anthony Whitcheck, 83, of Brownsville, Pennsylvania, on December 7, 2024.
Llewellyn, known to many as Lew, was born on July 16, 1941, to Tony and Mary Whitcheck. After earning a Bachelor’s degree from California University of Pennsylvania he began a career as an Industrial Arts teacher. He was also a longtime and zealous member of the Centerville congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, gladly teaching people about the Bible whenever possible.
Llewellyn is survived by his beloved wife Nancy Whitcheck; daughter Tammi Shephard and her husband Greg; sister Jan Wence and her husband Fran; sister-in-law Sandy Wadsworth and her husband Bob; brother-in-law George Porterfield; brother-in-law John Porterfield; as well as cousins, nieces, and nephews.
His warmth, humor, and zest for life will be greatly missed.
No services will be held.
