Marlene "Mama" D. Lutes

Marlene D. “Mama” Lutes, 75, of Roscoe, PA, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016.

She was born Sunday, August 18, 1940, in Daisytown, PA, a daughter of the late George Jr. Helen (Demeter) Krilosky.

She was a member of the Roscoe American Legion Post 801 Auxiliary where she served as the Sergeant at Arms.

In addition to her parents Marlene was preceded in death by her husband John R. "Mopey" Lutes in 1994.

Left to cherish her memory are her four children, son, Daniel Krilosky of Brownsville, PA, daughters, Kathleen J. Lutes of Roscoe, PA, Laura Bell and husband Mark of Belle Vernon, PA, Jonetta L. Santo and partner Jim Diaz of Charleroi, PA;  sister, Elizabeth Jane Huffman and husband Henry "Butch" Huffman of Eighty Four, PA.  Also surviving are six Grandchildren, Samuel R. Markoff III, Tristan Bartolomucci, Rayna and Johnathan Santo, Cheyenne and Peggy Singosky; great-grandchildren , Bella Bartolomucci, Addilyn Marsland, Jaxon Santo, and Charlie Marsland.

Friends will be received in the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA on Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and until11:00 am on Monday, June 27, when services will be held in the funeral home with Fr. Paul Grunebach officiating.
