Michael A. Miske, Jr

Michael A. Miske Jr., 41, of California, Pa passed away peacefully Sunday, October 27, 2024, with his family by his side.

He was born on October 4, 1983, in Uniontown, PA, he was the only son to the late Michael A. Miske, Sr. and Donna (Burrie) Miske.

Michael proudly served our country with the United States Marine Corps during the global war on terrorism “Operation Enduring Freedom.”  His specialty was logistics/embarkation and combat service support specialist.

Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Cecilia Brown (Darnelle), of Brownsville Pa., Tiffany Findley (David) of California, Pa, and Christina Sanders, of Morgantown Wv. Nephews Braylen and Asher Findley. He leaves behind his special uncles Thomas Miske (Connie), of Tower Hill #2 Pa, Steven Miske (Kitty), of Tower Hill #2 Pa, and Joseph Miske (Marianne) of Brookpark Oh. Also, he leaves behind his Aunts Beverly James (Bernard) of Leckrone Pa., and Dorothy Murray of Salem Oh. He leaves behind a host of cousins and friends as well.

Friends will be received in the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA on Friday, November 1, 2024, for a memorial visitation from 11 am to 1 pm.

Funeral services will begin at 1 pm with Rev. Amory Merriman officiating.

Interment, with full military honors, will follow in Highland Cemetery.
