Paul E. Wickerham, 94, of California, PA died on Saturday June 8, 2024.
He was born on Wednesday, April 16, 1930, in Fayette City, PA, a son of the late William Corrin Wickerham and Agnes Ellen (Owens) Wickerham.
In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his brother, William Robert “Billy Bob” Wickerham.
He was a graduate of Charleroi High School class of 1948 and Robert Morris in Business Administration.
Paul was retired from California University of Pennsylvania where he served as a business manager. He was an avid golfer, hunter, and angler.
He was a member of the California First Presbyterian Church, the California American Legion, California Hill Gun Club, and the Young Men’s Club.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 69 years, Dolores (Pavlick) Wickerham; two children, Paula Demski, of Monongahela and Jay C. Wickerham, of Poolsville, MD. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Janet Ann Wickerham, William Wickerham, Corrina (Ben) Vorpahl and Tiffany Sollosi; Four great grandchildren Evan Bandini, Eric Vorhpahl, Gunner Vorpahl, Sarah Sollosi.
Friends will be received in the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and until 11 am on Tuesday June 11, when funeral services will be held in the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Grafton Eliason, officiating.
Interment will be private and at the convenience of his family, in Monongahela Cemetery.
