Pauline (Harrison) Vitchoff

Pauline Vitchoff, 88, of California, PA, died Sunday, May 7, 2017.

She was born Monday, July 23, 1928, in Brownsville, PA, the daughter of the late John and Emma (Bailey) Harrison.

Pauline was a member of the United Christian Church Disciples of Christ, where she was active with the women’s group working in the kitchen and at the rummage sales.  She was a member of the California Fourth of July Committee, which held the annual picnic and she spent countless hours working for the East Pike Run Class of ’46 Reunion Committee

In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Vitchoff (1998), and one brother, William Harrison.

Left to cherish her memory are three children. John Patrick Vitchoff and wife Terry of California, daughter, Lorraine G. Vitchoff of California, PA and Daniel Vitchoff and wife Leah of Marshall Twp. PA;  Also surviving is her granddaughter, Brandi Choros and husband Anthony and her great granddaughter, Emily.

Friends will be received in the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA on Tuesday May 9, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm   and until 11 am on Wednesday when funeral services will be held in the funeral home with Rev. David Chafin officiating.

Interment will follow in Phillipsburg Cemetery.
