Obituary for Robert Joseph Santo**
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Joseph Santo, who left us on June 15, 2025, at the age of 72. Bob was born in Charleroi, PA, on Monday, February 2, 1953, a son of the late Michael and Mary (Skvarek) Santo. He spent his life dedicated to his craft as a master mechanic in the auto repair industry, earning respect and admiration in his field.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his loving companion, Norma Riley on December 6, 2024: two sisters, Julie Booth and Mary Ann Adamson, and two brothers, Edward and Michael Santo.
Bob loved to play the guitar and performed in a local band in his younger days.
Bob was known for his warm smile, contagious laughter, and unwavering support for his family and friends. He is survived by his loving sister, Terry Vavro; his brothers, Stanley, and Larry Santo; sister-in-law Christine Santo; and his niece, Stephanie Grenier and her husband, Paul. Bob always appreciated the simple joys in life and carried a passion for helping others, both on and off the job.
Family and friends will gather in Highland Cemetery, California, PA on Tuesday July 15 at 1:00 pm, all who knew him are welcome to join in sharing stories and celebrating the impact he made on so many lives.
Bob will be deeply missed, but his spirit and kindness will live on in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear friend.
