On November 19, 2024, the world lost a beloved soul as Ronald E. “Wrinkle” White peacefully transitioned into eternal rest at the age of 76. He was born in Waynesburg, PA, on Friday, August 13,1948, the son of Leroy and Dorothy (Campbell) White.
Ron proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1968, he was a machine gun expert, was wounded in combat and received a Purple Heart, a Silver Star, and numerous other awards.
He filled the lives of his family with love, wisdom, and unwavering strength. His legacy lives on through his devoted wife Susan (Redman) White; cherished daughters Lori, Rhonda, Ronale, and April; sons-in-law Roger Terry, John Difilippo, and Mike Fowkes, as well as his beloved sister Barbara Tate, and brother-in-law Daniel Tate. Ron will also be fondly remembered by his granddaughters Carmella, Gina, Alyssa, Taylor, and Madison, and great-grandson Camilo. He will be missed by his beloved shih tzus, Coco and Gizzmo.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 22 ,2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA
A heartfelt funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm with Fr. Efren Ambre, officiating.
