Rosa Hildred (Klinner) Folmar

It is with both sorrow and celebration that we announce the passing of Rosa Hildred Folmar, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who left us peacefully on August 2, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on May 30, 1931, a daughter of the late Arthur and

Rosa (Ratliff) Klinner.  Hildred lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Hildred is survived by her cherished sons: Dr. Johnny Kent Folmar, Jr. (Joy), Tramel Folmar (LeighAnn), Jeffrey Forrest Folmar (Wendy), and Brendan Folmar (Jessica). She was a proud grandmother to Johnny Folmar, III (Jamie), Christopher Folmar (Lauren), Jennifer Younkin, Jared Folmar, Brendan Folmar, and Michael Folmar, as well as a great-grandmother to David Younkin, Hope Younkin, Grace Folmar, Makenna Folmar, and Luke Folmar. She is also survived by her brother, Jimmy John Klinner and the father of her sons, Dr. Johnny Kent Folmar, Sr.

Hildred Folmar’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She was a guiding light, offering wisdom and warmth to her family, who will gather to honor her remarkable life.

Family will receive friends in the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, on August 6, 2025, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service celebrating Hildred's life will take place on August 7, 2025, at 11 am. Interment will take place in Howe Cemetery following the service.
