Russell Keith Skolyak

Russell Keith Skolyak, 60, of Daisytown, PA, died unexpectedly on Monday, January 23, 2017.

He was born Tuesday, July 31, 1956, in Washington, PA, the son of the late Robert and Patricia (Elliott) Skolyak.

He was a member of the Labors Local Union 286.

In addition to his parents Russell was preceded in death by his daughter Amber Marie Skolyak on June 11, 2007.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 34 years, Renee (Cavanaugh) Skolyak;  children , April Collins and husband John "Beef" Collins of Daisytown, PA, Jessica Skolyak (James Lee Cornell, Sr.) of Lawrence, PA, James Skolyak and Aden Skolyak both at home; sister , Sue Coleman and husband George of Daisytown, and Kathy Dietz and husband Frank of Olathe, KS.  Also surviving are his lifelong best friend, Leonard Neil of Pittsburgh, PA and grandsons, Odin and Liam Collins and James Lee Cornell, Jr.

Friends will be received in the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm.

Funeral services will begin at 8:00 pm with Rev. David Chaffin officiating.
