She was a devoted follower of Christ and dedicated her life to caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), leaving a lasting impact on the many lives she touched throughout her nursing career. She also enjoyed gardening and birdwatching and loved cheering for the Pirates and the Steelers.

In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her two sons, Robert “Bob” Silbaugh and Stephen Silbaugh.

Sandy is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Vickie Silbaugh; her brother, Thomas Shumaker, and sister-in-law, Janet Shumaker; and her cherished grandchildren, Megan Silbaugh, Phillip Martin, and Justin Silbaugh. Also left to cherish her memory are her beloved niece and nephew, Kelly Shumaker and Brian Shumaker; great-nephews, Joshua Battocchi and Nick Shumaker and great-niece, Kadie David.
