Wayne R. Thistlethwaite, 87, of Brownsville, PA, died Sunday, February 18, 2018.

 

He was born Saturday, August 23, 1930, a son of the late Wayne and Ruth (Reichard) Thistlethwaite.

 

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and proudly served our country in the Army.

 

In addition to his parents Wayne was preceded in death by his wife Jean and two sons, Paul Wayne and Lee Alan Thistlethwaite.

 

Left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Amanda Thistlethwaite and fiancé  Craig Eadie and grandson, Robert Thistlethwaite and wife Stephanie.  Also surviving are his great granddaughter, Ava, cousins, Raymond and Mable Popp and his dear friend Ivan Cavrak.

 

 

Friends will be received in the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from2-4 & 7-9 P.M., and until11:00 am on Thursday, February 22, when funeral services will be held in the funeral home.

 

Interment will follow in Westland Cemetery.
