William James McGinity, Jr.

William James McGinity, Jr.,  75, of West Brownsville, PA , passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

He was born December 24, 1948, in Latrobe, PA, a son of the late William James McGinity, Sr. and Ethel (Pascoe) McGinity.

Bill proudly served our country in the Army. He was a member of the former American Legion, JFK  Post 377, California, PA  and the VFW.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his first wife, Rosalie McGinity.

Left to cherish his memory are his two children, Kimberly McGinity, of Roscoe, PA, and William Paul McGinity, of Brooklyn, NY: siblings,  Nancy Sethman (Harry), of Blainesburg, Keith McGinity, of California, PA,  Ronnie McGinity (Debbie) of Smithton, PA, and Bonnie Dillon (Randy) of Boiling Springs, SC. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA on Saturday,  June 22, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM.

Funeral services will begin at 6pm with Rev. Amory Merriman officiating.
