William Elmer Rhodes

William Elmer Rhodes,, 85, of California, PA, died Friday, December 23, 2016.

He was born Sunday, May 31, 1931, in Revere, PA, a son of the late Elmer Rhodes  and Genevieve (McCoy) Rhodes.

He proudly served our country in the Army.

William was preceded in death by his wife Bertha (Hess) Rhodes and his son William E. Rhodes, Jr..

Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Kathy Musleh, and Barbara Moore, brothers and sisters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends in the California First Presbyterian Church for a memorial service on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 11:00 am with Rev. Candace Cook officiating.

Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the California First Presbyterian Church, 303 Fourth Street, California, PA 15419 or the American Heart Association, 444 Liberty Ave #1300, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA.
