Yvonne Anne (Downer) Lutz

Yvonne Anne Lutz, 56, of California, PA, lost a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, July 13, 2017.

She was born Saturday, May 20, 1961, in Brownsville, PA, the daughter of the late Kenneth Downer, Sr and Donna (Banyak) Downer.

In addition to her parents Yvonne was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Downer, Jr.; grandmother, Nancy “Pearl” Vandernitte; aunt, Beverly Gillis; uncle, Stanley Banyak and cousin, Sean Shimko.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bruce Lutz; son, Ryan Patrick Givens and wife Eve; cousin, Danny Shimko; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rita and Ernest Lutz; sisters-in-law, Michelle Meneskie and Sherry Bizzozero and aunt, Carol Banyak.  Also surviving are her grandson, Trey Matthews; niece, Shannon Jankowski and husband Ron and nephew, Lucas Zelina.  

Friends will be received in the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 4-8 pm.  Memorial Service will begin at 8:00 pm with Rev. David Chafin officiating.
